Captured Armenian soldiers are terrorists, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry believes
Baku/27.05.21/Turan: The penetration of a reconnaissance group from Armenia into Azerbaijan and an attempt to mine the country's territory should be regarded as terrorist activity, stated the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry in connection with the capture of six Armenian soldiers in the Kalbajar region on the night of May 27.
Recently, Armenia has been pursuing a policy of deliberately escalating tensions on the border. “A new attempt to mine supply lines could pose a threat to Azerbaijani servicemen. Azerbaijan supports the call of the international community on the need for delimitation and demarcation of borders between the two countries and stands for the removal of tensions through negotiations,” the Foreign Ministry said, which called on Armenia to abandon such actions and respect state borders. –71D-
