CEC insulted and threatens OSCE
The CEC issued a statement in connection with the negative conclusion of the OSCE ODIHR and PACE on the outcome of the presidential elections in Azerbaijan.
The CEC said that it considers the primary report on the elections of both the European institutions, as "an insult to the will of the Azerbaijani people," and does not accept these reports.
The statement authors point out that the ODIHR assessment does not coincide with estimates of 20 other international organizations, which puts the ODIHR "in the position of isolation."
The CEC believes the ODIHR report is biased and not objective, and blames this structure that it "does not take into account irregularities in the election in the neighboring countries."
The CEC threatens the OSCE ODIHR that it will be forced to turn to the Azerbaijani authorities to review the issue of cooperation with this structure in the future. -05D04-
