Censorship in the Customs House?

Azerbaijani customs officers seized the  book  by the Armenian author Tatul Hakobyan “The Karabakh Diary. Green and Black” from the Director of the regional office of the Institute for War and Peace, journalist Shahin Rzayev, Rzayev himself told Turan.

It happened yesterday at the customs point Boyuk Kesik when Rzaev was coming back from the event "Internews" he in Georgia, and  where he bought a book.
Customs officers seized the book, explaining that "it was published in Armenia", and wrote it in the protocol. "I asked if I had a book "Eugeniy Onegin", published in Armenia, you would have seized it, they  answered "yes", Rzayev said.
Director of the Media Rights Institute, Rashid Hajily, commenting  on the withdrawal of the book, described the incident as "censorship" and a violation of the right of citizens to receive and  information. According to  Hajily, even officially banned book can be imported in a single copy for your own reading and research. In any case, this issue is not solved by customs officer.
The decision to prohibit distribution of  any literature, even to prevent the propagation of extremism can be accepted by the court. Again, this decision concerns the mass distribution, and not a single copy.—06B-
