Ceyhun Bayramov received the EU Special Representative
Baku/09.06.23/Turan: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov met today with the Special Representative of the European Union for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar.
The parties exchanged views on the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the current state of negotiations mediated by international partners, including the European Union, and discussed regional security issues.
Bayramov once again drew attention to the current situation on the peace agreement, discussions on the opening of transport and communications in accordance with the obligations of the parties, as well as Baku's position on the issue of delimitation.
Klaar expressed the EU's support for the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, saying that the EU will spare no effort to continue contacts between the political leaders of both countries in the future.
The sides also exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union. ---06B--
