Commander of peacekeepers visits Azerbaijani soldier arrested in Karabakh
Baku/03.09.21/Turan: On September 3, the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh, General Rustam Muradov, visited a military Jamil Babayev, who is under arrest in Karabakh, reported the Armenian media with reference to the headquarters of the peacekeepers.
“During the visit, Muradov got acquainted with the conditions of detention and the health of Babayev. At the request of the latter, he will be given the opportunity to contact his relatives and family members,” it was reported.
Jamil Babayev was detained on August 25 Babayev in the city of Agdere (Martakerd) in the house where he entered. According to the Armenian version, he asked for food and cigarettes. Those who were in the house called the police.
In turn, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan stated that Babayev voluntarily left the mental hospital in Ganja and got to Karabakh. At present, a criminal case has been initiated against him, both by Armenian separatists and by law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan. -02D-
