Complaint of I.Mamedov against CEC is postponed for September 18
Consideration of the complaint in Baku Court of Appeal on the appeal meeting the leader of REAL Ilgar Mammadov CEC, scheduled for September 17, was postponed to Wednesday.
The reason for postponement is that the lawyer requested to provide the presence of Mammadov, who is under arrest, at the trial.
The complaint was filed against the decision of CEC to register Mammadov as a presidential candidate.
The REAL Movement considered unreasonable that CEC, based on "assumptions" experts, called 6,000 signatures submitted in favor of Mamedov "rigged." The consideration of the complaint was scheduled for 14:00 on September 18.
Mammadov was arrested on February 4 due to riots in Ismayilly region. He is accused of organizing riots and resisting police.—1606D--
