Council of Europe Election Mission Meets with Opposition Leaders
Baku / 24.01.20 / Turan: On February 9, the Council of Europe’s mission to monitor the parliamentary elections held a meeting with leaders of the Azerbaijani opposition on January 23.
The Council of Europe was represented by: Stefan Shennach (Austria), Alfred Yeer (Switzerland), Ravio Tam (Estonia), and Georgios Kartugkalos (Greece).
The Azerbaijani opposition was represented by the leader of Musavat Arif Hajili, the leader of the Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli, the leader of the Rights and Justice Party Ali Insanov, the head of REAL Ilgar Mammadov and a member of the Coordination Center of the National Council Gultakin Hajibeyli.
The party said the topic of discussion was the election situation, violations at the stage of nomination and registration of candidates, and other topics. -03D-
