Baku / 13.03.19 / Turan: According to the presidential decree of March 13, funds have been allocated to the creative unions of Azerbaijan.
The Writers' Union has been allocated 800 thousand manat, the Composers' Union - 650 thousand manat, the Artists' Union - 350 thousand manat, the Cinematographers Union - 300 thousand manat, the Architects" Union - 250 thousand manat, and the Union of Theater Workers - 250 thousand manat.
The funds are allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President of Azerbaijan for 2019. -02D-

By the decree of the President of Azerbaijan, Siyavush Kerimi has been relieved of his duties as rector of the National Conservatory. By another decree from the head of state, Khamila Dadashzade has been appointed as the new rector of the institution. Previously, she headed the Department of Music History and Theory at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. Dadashzade is a member of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan.
