CSTO Secretary General to travel to Armenia to assess the situation at the border
Baku/13.09.22/Turan: A mission of the Collective Security Treaty Organization led by Secretary General Stanislav Zas will leave for Armenia to assess the situation in the region. This decision was made at an extraordinary session of the CSTO held on September 13, BelTA reported.
The session was convened at the request of Armenia, which asked for military assistance.
An agreement was also reached to prepare a report to the heads of state and develop proposals for de-escalating the situation.
A proposal was also agreed to establish a working group to continuously monitor the situation. -0-
