Czech companies can participate in the reconstruction of cities in Karabakh
Baku/06.02.23/Turan: In early March 2023, a meeting of the Azerbaijani-Czech intergovernmental commission will be held in Prague, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Azerbaijan Milan Sedlacek said, speaking at the Center for the Study of International Relations (CSIR) in Baku.
The Ambassador noted that relations between the two countries are developing in all areas, including culture and education.
The former Czech Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Milan Eckert, noted that Czech specialists are ready to participate in several projects on the territory of Azerbaijan.Among them is the implementation of the "smart city" concept in the liberated regions of Karabakh.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Slovakia to Azerbaijan Milan Lajčiak, who noted the stability and prospects for the development of Slovak-Azerbaijani relations. Slovakia became the first country to present a comprehensive project for the construction of a smart city in Karabakh in Baku on May 27, 2021.
According to the conference participant, MP Tural Ganjaliyev, transport and communications are important areas of cooperation between the two countries. He believes that the Czech Republic, as well as other EU countries, are interested in the implementation of the Zangezur corridor through Armenia to develop ties with the countries of Central Asia.
According to the press service of CSIR, a joint conference held at the Center, together with the Embassy of the Czech Republic, is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. –0--
