Czech Republic seeks to invest in Azerbaijan
Baku/16.05.19/Turan: On Thursday, President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation of the Czech parliament led by Chairman of the House Radek Vondrachek.
They discussed the issues of strengthening economic cooperation and inter-parliamentary relations.
Radek Vondrachek said that he arrived with a large delegation, the main purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral ties, taking into account the interest of Czech investors in Azerbaijan.
Today, a significant part of the trade turnover of the two countries accounts for oil and oil products from Azerbaijan, which occupy 33% of the Czech market. The Czech Republic would like to organize the export of its products to Azerbaijan. In particular, the parties are negotiating the opening of a representative office of the well-known company Ceska Zbrojovka for the production of defense products.
