Defence Ministry instructed to immediately and adequately respond to enemy provocations
Baku/04.06.22/Turan: A service meeting chaired by Defence Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov was held at the central command post on Saturday, June 4.
According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, during the meeting the importance of enhancing the intensity and quality of training and practical exercises carried out in accord with the conditions of real combat was noted.
The Minister gave specific instructions to maintain combat readiness at consistently high level, and to take immediate adequate response to possible provocations against Azerbaijani units.
The activity of the National Defence University established to improve the management of military education within the framework of measures to bring the Azerbaijani army in line with the standards of the Turkish armed forces was also positively assessed.
Besides, the importance of continuing appropriate engineering measures, organisation of military service in military units stationed in the liberated territories, as well as the improvement of military infrastructure and closer attention to security rules was emphasised.-06B-
