Defense Industry Exhibition ADEX-2018 Opens in Baku
Baku / 24.09.18 / Turan: At the international defense industry exhibition ADEX-2018 on September 25-27, the products of more than 200 companies from various countries of the world will be presented in Baku, the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan said.
The exhibition will be held in Baku Expo Center. Azerbaijan, Turkey, France, Russia, Israel, Belarus, Pakistan, Serbia, Ukraine and others will present defense products in three pavilions and in the open air.
Azerbaijan will also present the latest achievements of the military-industrial complex. In particular, the Ministry of Defense Industry will demonstrate the armored car Tufan, Deputy Minister of Defense Industry Yahya Musaev said at today's press conference.
According to him, 224 companies participate in the exhibition, which will present 260 types of military products. The opening ceremony will be attended by the ministers of six countries and heads of companies of 11 countries. According to unofficial data, the exhibition will be visited by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Russian military-industrial complex will present 250 types of defense products, including aircraft, helicopters, missile systems, armored vehicles, air defense systems and light boats.
The exhibition ADEX-2018 is held every two years starting from 2014 -06D--
