Defense Ministry denies shelling of Armenian positions
Baku/07.06.21/Turan: The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense denied the message of the Armenian side about today's shootout on the border of the Kalbajar region of Azerbaijan and the Gegharkunik region of Armenia.
Thus, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that the Azerbaijani military attacked Armenian positions near the village of Verin Shorzha. At the same time, from the Armenian side, one soldier was wounded and two were wounded from the Azerbaijani side.
In response, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated that the Azerbaijani side did not open fire and there were no wounded from the Azerbaijani side. “If the Armenians have any losses, then this is the result of an incident between themselves,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement. -16D-
