Aggressive rhetoric harms the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict and the parties should refrain from actions that undermine the peace process. This was announced by the State Department Press Secretary Jen Psaki, commenting on the recent threats against Armenians. At a briefing at the State Department she was asked to assess the statements of Ilham Aliyev that Armenia will have a dark future if it does not withdraw its troops from Karabakh and does not get rid of the bloody corrupt regime ruling in this country. On this Psaki reminded that such statements undermine peace efforts. She recalled the position of the countries with the chairmen of the Minsk Group that the parties should refrain from use of force and threats of force and to act upon the statements of the presidents of the three countries
