Distribution of video footage about the movements of the Azerbaijani army is punishable - State Security Council
Baku/06.09.23/Turan: The State Security Service of Azerbaijan has distributed a message in which it urged users not to distribute video materials related to the armed forces of Azerbaijan.
In recent days, appeals have been spreading in the segment of telegram channels associated with the special services of Armenia, encouraging the publication on social networks of video frames related to the military formations of the Azerbaijani army, their deployment, movements, combat and mobilization training, weapons, military equipment, the report of the State Security Service.
The State Security Service of Azerbaijan has taken this issue under control and the necessary measures will be taken against those who initiated such actions. "It is absolutely unacceptable to conduct and distribute videos that cause serious damage to the national security and defense capability of Azerbaijan, contain information related to the Armed Forces of the country and constitute a state secret. We urge citizens to refrain from committing such actions," the State Security Service further notes.
The Ministry also stressed that the intentional commission of these illegal actions entails an investigation on suspicion of disclosure of state secrets, and in some cases - the commission of high treason, and provides for appropriate criminal liability measures. ---06B---
