Elman Rustamov will be elected the sixth time
Baku/04.04.20/Turan: The agenda of the meeting of the Milli Majlis on April 9 includes the issue of electing Elman Rustamov as a member of the board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), the website of the parliament.
A 68-year-old Rustamov since 1995 was five times elected a member and chair of the CBA board.
According to the Constitution, members of the board of the CBA are approved by the parliament on the proposal of the country's president.
The head of state from among the members of the board appoints the chair of the board of the CBA.
The term of office of a member and head of the board of the CBA is five years.—06В-
