Erdogan and Aliyev Congratulated Ramil Guliyev
Baku / 11.08.17 / Turan: The Presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan congratulated the runner Ramil Guliyev on the victory at the World Athletics Championships.
Erdogan wrote on his blog on Twitter that he was proud of the victory of Ramil Guliyev, who won a gold medal in the 200 meter race at the World Championships in London. In addition, Erdogan sent a telegram to Guliyev.
In his turn, Ilham Aliyev in his address to Ramil Guliyev wrote that for the first time in history the Azerbaijani athlete became the world champion in track and field athletics.
"Your victory is also another embodiment of the Azerbaijani-Turkish friendship and brotherhood. We are proud of you in Azerbaijan," the message says.
Recall that the native of Baku, Ramil Guliyev, until 2011, performed for Azerbaijan, but then his relationship with the heads of the country's sports departments did not work out and he left for Turkey. -02D-
