Erdogan and Kilicdaroglu will compete for the presidency in the second round on May 28
Baku/15.05.23/Turan: The second round of the presidential elections is scheduled for May 28 in Turkey, the chairman of the Supreme Electoral Structure of Turkey, Ahmet Ener, stated at the press-conference.
He said that on the May 14 presidential elections, the candidate from the Republican Alliance, incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, won 49.54% of the votes, and the representative of the opposition National Union Kemal Kilicdaroglu - 44.85%.
ATA Union candidate Sinan Ohan received 5.17% of the vote.
Another 0.44% voted for the head of the "Memleket" party, Muhareem Inje, who withdrew from the elections three days before the vote.
Thus, on May 28, Erdogan and Kilicdaroglu will compete for the post of president of Turkey. ---16D06---
