EXPO-2025 to Be Held in Osaka
Baku / 23.11.18 / Turan: The World Expo 2025 will be held in Osaka, Japan.
It was selected on November 23 as a result of the second ballot of the countries participating in the International Exhibitions Bureau (IEB).
Osaka gained 85 votes. 48 and 23 countries respectively voted for Yekaterinburg and Baku, the IEB said in a statement.
The World Expo is the largest international exhibition in which more than 170 countries participate. It is held every five years, when countries show their best achievements in the field of science, technology, architecture and art.
Osaka became the mistress of the EXPO in 1970. -06d--
