Fights on the border of Kalbajar and Vardenis
Baku/11.01.22/Turan: Shootings have been taking place on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border (Kalbajar-Vardenis) since noon on January 11. According to Armenian sources, the Armenians have two dead and three wounded. On the Azerbaijani side, one was killed.
According to Armenian media reports, the Azerbaijani side used shock drones and artillery. In turn, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said : "The Azerbaijan Army Units are carrying out adequate response measures in order to suppress the provocation of the opposing side in this direction without the use of any aircraft or artillery".
No positional changes were reported. According to the Armenian side, the fighting is going in the direction of the village of Verin Shorzha.-02В-
