Baku / 02.11.20 / Turan: On November 2, the Armenian side confirmed the death of the “deputy commander of the Karabakh Defense Army,” Colonel Artur Sargsyan, Sputnik Armenia reports.
It is not reported under what circumstances this happened. However, the day before, unmanned aviation of Azerbaijan shot a motorcade of four off-road vehicles in the Khojavend direction, one of which was Sargsyan.
Together with him, another deputy commander, Colonel Sergei Shakaryan, who was awarded the title of hero a month ago, was killed.
Sargsyan and Shakaryan became the second and third high-ranking military personnel eliminated in Karabakh in recent days by a drone strike. Earlier, the commander of the separatist forces, General Jalal Harutyunyan, was also killed. -02D-
