Foreign Minister Leaves for Iran on Day of OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs’ Arrival in Baku
Baku / 09.12.20 / Turan: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov went on an official visit to Iran on December 9.
The press service of the Foreign Ministry said that during the visit it is planned to meet with high-ranking officials of Iran.
Earlier, Iranian media reported that Bayramov was scheduled to meet with the Foreign Minister, Speaker of Parliament and the President of Iran. The topic of the meetings is regional security and bilateral relations.
It is noteworthy that Bayramov left for Iran on the day when the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs arrive in Baku to discuss the situation around the Karabakh settlement. -02D-

The health condition of activist Nijat Ibrahim has sharply worsened while he remains in Baku's Detention Center No. 1, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan news agency. On Sunday, November 5, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the 11th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.
