Foreigners to Receive Visas through ASAN Visa
By the decree of the President of Azerbaijan, a new system will be created for issuing electronic visas. It is called ASAN Visa.
The system is aimed at simplifying procedures for issuing visas to foreigners and stateless persons. The service ASAN is commissioned to create the new system and to submit the proposals to the President within one month.
From now on, ASAN Visa will receive applications for obtaining electronic visas, as well as send e-visas to the recipients.
According to the decree, the electronic visa will be issued only to citizens of member states of the list approved by the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, as well as stateless persons residing in these countries.
The Foreign Ministry is instructed to strictly observe the procedure for the issuance of electronic visas within three working days and to approve the list of countries whose citizens will be provided electronic visas. -02D-
