Baku/03.04.23/Turan: As a result of a joint operation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Service and the Prosecutor General's Office, four suspects in the attempt on the life of MP Fazil Mustafa were detained. This was reported to Turan in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
The department noted that later the public will be provided with detailed information.
So far, the identity of the detainees and the alleged motives for the crime have not been disclosed.
According to local media, the arrest operation was carried out in the Garad region.
Mustafa was wounded on the evening of March 28 by shots from firearms at the gate of his house in the village of Zabrat.—06B-
