Baku/24.10.23/Turan: The Armenian and French Dfence Ministers signed an agreement in Paris on Monday on the sale of three GM 200 radars manufactured by "Thales". They also signed a memorandum on future deliveries of "Mistral" short-range air defence systems, Armenian media reported.

"The protection of the sky is absolutely key," Lecornu said during a joint press conference with Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan.

France will also help Armenia train its land defence forces and supports the country's efforts to reform and modernise its armed forces, Lecornu said.

"We maintain our defence relations with Armenia, although we are not part of the same military and political alliances," Lecornu said. -02D-
