French Ambassador handed a note of protest
Baku/26.11.20/Turan: French Ambassador to Baku Zachary Gross was summoned to the Azerbaijani foreign Ministry today, where he was handed a note of protest in connection with the adoption of the resolution "on the need to recognize the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" by the French Senate on November 25, the Azerbaijani foreign Ministry said.
The Ambassador strongly protested that the Senate's decision contradicted the norms and principles of international law, the UN Charter, the Helsinki Final act, and the relevant UN Security Council resolutions of 1993.
The French Ambassador noted that the position of the Azerbaijani foreign Ministry will be brought to the attention of Paris.—06D--
