"Fresh" minefield neutralized in Lachin
Baku/16.08.22/Turan: A minefield laid by Armenian military units at the end of the Second Karabakh War in 2020 has been found in the Lachin region, on the slopes of the Sarybaba hill.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reports that the engineering units deactivated 991 mines in the area.
On August 15, during the day, the mines were removed and disposed of.
Worthy of note is that these anti-personnel mines of PMN-E type were produced in Armenia in 2021.-06B-

In Georgia’s parliamentary elections, the ruling "Georgian Dream" party achieved a significant majority in areas with large Armenian and Azerbaijani populations: Akhalkalaki – 88%, Ninotsminda – 90%, Marneuli – 80%, Bolnisi – 81%, Tetritskaro – 68.6%, Dmanisi – 76.4%, Tsalka – 69.3%, and Gardabani – 70.8%. Footage of ballot-stuffing in Marneuli circulated widely on social media in Georgia and beyond. Meanwhile, "Georgian Dream" lost in Tbilisi, where national minorities are few.
