From November 13 to December 22, the Armenians collected 1,061 bodies of their killed soldiers
Baku/23.12.20/Turan: Over the past five weeks, the Armenians have found and taken away from the combat zone in and around Karabakh 1061 bodies of their servicemen, Armenian media report. This became possible after Azerbaijan allowed the parents of Armenian soldiers to conduct searches in Jabrayil, Fizuli, Shusha, Agder (Mardakert), Khojavend (Martuni) and Hadrut.
Almost every day it is reported that dozens of bodies have been found and handed over to the Armenian side. Some of the dead cannot be identified and they are sent to Armenia for DNA analysis.
Representatives of the Red Cross and Russian peacekeepers, who are negotiating with the Azerbaijani side, are taking part in the search for the dead.
For some time now, the Armenian side has ceased to report data on the number of soldiers killed. The last official figure, which was named - 3 thousand dead. However, this was reported a month ago. Armenia also does not name the number of missing persons.

During the ongoing COP29 climate conference in Baku on November 14, a group of activists staged a protest condemning Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The activists also denounced countries that supply oil and weapons to nations waging aggressive wars. The protest featured placards with slogans such as: "From fossil fuels to peace!", "End war crimes!", "Punish the aggressor!", and "Phase out fossil fuel use to achieve peace!" among others.
