Georgia and Azerbaijan sign military cooperation plan for 2020
Tbilisi / 22.01.20 / Turan: The Georgian and Georgian defense ministers Irakli Garibashvili and Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov discussed strategic partnership and military cooperation between the two countries on Wednesday.
At an expanded meeting of the heads of defense of the two countries, Garibashvili thanked Hasanov for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia. He noted that friendly and good neighborly relations between the countries are a guarantee of stability and security in the region.
“After the meeting, Irakli Garibashvili and Zakir Hasanov signed a plan for bilateral cooperation for 2020,” the Georgian Defense Ministry said in a statement. -02D-

Adalyat Verdiyev, the head of the civil defense staff at the public legal entity Center for Public Health and Reform under the Ministry of Health, and a military expert, has been arrested. On November 22, during a media tour to the liberated territories, Verdiyev filmed and published information and images on his social media accounts revealing Azerbaijani Armed Forces' combat positions in the heights, deployment sites, coordinates, and operational conditions of the border troops.
