Government promises to prevent price increases
Baku / 10.03.20 / Turan: The Azerbaijani government promises to prevent artificial price increases and take tough measures against an unreasonable deficit. These issues were discussed at a meeting in the Cabinet on Wednesday, chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
According to an official statement, the authorities promise not to cut back on social programs despite a sharp drop in oil prices. It is noted that the country has enough foreign exchange reserves to maintain stability in the foreign exchange market and maintain inflation.
The meeting was attended by ministers of the economic bloc, the heads of the Central Bank and the Oil Fund.-02D-
