Gubad Ibadoglu still deprived of quality medical care
Baku/03.01.24/Turan: Chairman of the "Azerbaijan Democracy and Welfare Party", economist-academic Gubad Ibadoglu, detained in Baku SIZO-1, still lacks effective medical care. His brother Galib Bayramov, who met Ibadoglu in the pre-trial detention centre on 2 January, told Turan.
"The communication was through a glass partition. There is no improvement in my brother's health condition. The Narimanov district court and then the Court of Appeal late last month failed to grant a petition to transfer Gubad to a Ministry of Justice medical facility.
The request to place him under house arrest for health reasons was also not granted," Bayramov said.
Economists and scientists from around the world send New Year greetings to Ibadoglu and appeal to President Ilham Aliyev to release Ibadoglu.
Recall that on 24 July this year, the Narimanov district court of Baku arrested Gubad Ibadoglu, chairman of the Party of Democracy and Prosperity of Azerbaijan (PDPA), for 3 months and 26 days.
He was accused of realising counterfeit money (Article 204.3.1 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan) as well as 167-3.1 (possession and distribution of extremist materials).
A number of countries and international organisations, including the US State Department, US senators and congressmen, have called for Ibadoglu's release.-16D06-

Такая гнилая власть только в Азербайджане существует, если это вообще властью назвать можно. Воюют с известным ученым, который худо бедно представлял страну на мировом уровне. Нигде в мире такого нет. Что за гниды исключительные
