Haji Abdul and Nasir Agayev reconcile

One of the members of the national democratic movement of the late 1980s - early 1990s,  and the  founder of the Association "Baku and Baku villages" ,Nasir Agayev, joined the public coalition "National Unity for Motherland."

This coalition was formed last month "in order to promote democracy." It was initiated by Abdul Abdulaliyev, the head of a religious society "Tovbe" ("Repentance".)

"Tovbe" also includes an NGO "Baku-revival" and the block ATA (“Alliance for Progress  of Azerbaijan.”) Organization is open to new members.

It is noteworthy that in his time and Abdulaliyev and Agayev used to be in a tough confrontation with each other. Today, however, they reconciled.

"We should not look to the past, but into the future, and fight for democracy,"  said Abdulaliyev.

Agayev, in turn, said that at present  money and power  in the country prevail over the law and justice.

Corruption and monopolies that prevent the growth of the prosperity of the people, prosper in the country.

Agayev noted, the process of assigning land funds of  Baku villages, destruction of the landscape of the Caspian Sea is ongoing.

Welcoming the establishment of the National Council of Democratic Forces,  Agayev said that  this  structure includes a number of "undesirable people."

Not  expressing support for any of the presidential candidates, he said that regardless of the identity of the candidate, he must have a plan to save the country from economic, political, moral and demographic disaster.

Today's event can be considered as another step towards the consolidation of Baku settlements. The electorate of this area for many years considers its leader the  former president Ayaz Mutalibov.

Currently, the  playwright Rustam Ibrahimbayov  pretends for this role. -05C06-
