Has an attempt on Pashinyan`s life been prevented in Armenia?
Baku/02.11.23/Turan: On Thursday, the National Security Service of Armenia reported the exposure of a criminal group that was preparing a series of terrorist attacks against state institutions and individuals. The group planned to "carry out explosions, as well as seize buildings of state significance, planned to kill a civilian in order to obstruct the activities of state authorities," the report says.
Five people found with weapons, ammunition, unused phone cards of operators of Armenia and Russia, encrypted documentation, were arrested.
The terrorist operation that was being prepared was called "Northern Leaf Fall" with the involvement of the broad masses of the population. It was planned to create a telegram channel called "National Salvation Uprising". It was also planned to take the families of members of the criminal group to Georgia, the report says.
The National Security Service of Armenia does not name against whom the terrorist attack was planned, but it is not difficult to guess that the seizure of state buildings, the murder of a civilian and the obstruction of the activities of state bodies means the elimination of the first person of the country and the commission of a coup.
Thus, Nikol Pashinyan once again managed to prevent an attempt to forcibly overthrow the current government in Armenia. In the message of the National Security Service there is a hint of participation in the attempted terrorist attack and external forces, which, however, were not named. ---02D---
