Hikmet Hajiyev: Azerbaijan is ready to ensure rights and security of Armenian community
Baku/16.08.23/Turan: Azerbaijan is ready to ensure the rights and security of the Armenian community living in Karabakh as an integral part of Azerbaijan on the basis of its constitution. This was stated to journalists by Presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev during a visit to Aghdam by members of diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan.
According to him, the Aghdam-Khankyandi road connects Karabakh with the main part of Azerbaijan. Karabakh has always been connected with Azerbaijan by this road. Nature itself contributes to this. The road from Karabakh to Armenia goes through mountains and difficult terrain, he noted.
According to Hajiyev, the Aghdam-Khankyandi road is also of political importance. "The political sense is that Karabakh is Azerbaijan, Pashinyan and the whole of Armenia were forced to accept it. Of course, they did not do it voluntarily, but as a result of our victory in the war. The next stage will be the reintegration of Karabakh into Azerbaijan," the Presidential aide said. -03-
