Hikmet Hajiyev discussed EU-Azerbaijan relations in Brussels
On November 15, the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan for Foreign Policy Hikmet Hajiyev held talks with the foreign policy adviser to the head of the European Council Simon Mordue (chief foreign policy advisor to the President of the European Council).
"The issues of relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan were discussed. The emphasis is laid on the fact that Azerbaijan is an important partner for the EU in the Caucasus. The European Union will continue to support the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan to thus promote a peaceful and prosperous South Caucasus," Mordy wrote on his Twitter account.
It ought to be noted that the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar also took part in the meeting.
