Historical toponyms of Azerbaijan will be indicated in the acts of civil status of natives of Armenia
Baku/20.07.23/Turan: The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the "Rules of state registration of acts of civil status. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
According to the document, during the state registration of acts of birth, marriage and death in the registry offices and consulates, executive offices, toponyms will be written according to the names of existing administrative-territorial units.
When re-issuing certificates, the names of administrative-territorial units that existed on the day of issuance of these documents will be indicated. In repeated certificates and certificates issued to persons born in Armenia, the names of places will be indicated by the historical toponyms of Azerbaijan. –06B-
