I. Aliyev: A missile strike on Ganja is a war crime and Azerbaijan will give an answer to this on the battlefield
Baku / 17.10.20 / Turan: Armenia's new missile strike on Ganja is a war crime and Azerbaijan will answer for this. However, Azerbaijan's retaliatory measures will be exclusively on the battlefield.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated this in his today's address to the people.
The new missile attack on Ganja, which entailed numerous human casualties, is "a clear manifestation of the fascist essence of the Armenian leadership," said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“This is not the first time our cities have been bombarded by the enemy. It can be said that every day the Armenian Armed Forces fire at Tartar, Agdam, Goranboy, Agjebedi and other cities of Azerbaijan, as a result of which our citizens are killed and wounded. More than 2 thousand houses were destroyed or seriously damaged, but this will not break the will of our people. The Armenian leadership is committing a war crime by opening fire on civilians and firing at them from operational missile systems. They must be punished for these crimes, and will bear it," Aliyev said on Saturday televised address to the nation.
At the same time, the President noted that Azerbaijan is giving its answer to Armenia, and will continue to give it exclusively on the battlefield.
“We are avenging the innocent people who died in the battle and will continue our revenge. We will not continue to take revenge on civilians. We are not Armenians to kill unarmed people. I have already said that if they do not leave, we will drive them out like dogs. This is what we do. Every day the valiant Azerbaijani army liberates new strategic heights, important positions and settlements from the occupiers,” Aliyev said.-0-
