I. Aliyev received Saudi Arabian Prosecutor General
Baku/10.05.22/Turan: Azerbaijan has a particular liking for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as it is one of the few countries that has not established diplomatic relations with Armenia. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this on Tuesday while receiving a delegation led by the Prosecutor General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al Muajib.
"Saudi Arabia did this because Armenia occupied our lands, and we highly appreciate this position," he said.
Since the restoration of the country's territorial integrity, opportunities for cooperation in the economic sphere, including energy, have widened.
Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the interest of major Saudi companies in Azerbaijan. Mutual visits and development of tourism have created a good basis for further development of cooperation.
In turn, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al Muajib congratulated Azerbaijan on the liberation of occupied territories.
The two sides exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation, the official statement said. -02D-

Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.

The United States and the European Union, which tried to position themselves as mediators in the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, have come up with nothing and merely copied Russia's ideas, distorting their essence in order to "hijack" the peace process for themselves. However, their true goal was to take control of the region, to insert themselves into it, and to push out Russia, as well as Iran and Türkiye, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing on November 13.
