I.Aliyev received adviser to the President of France /UPDATED/
President Ilham Aliyev and adviser to the President of France Isabelle Dumont touched upon the topics discussed by the leaders of Azerbaijan and France during their recent telephone conversations.
In particular, they exchanged views on the issues of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, negotiations on the conclusion of a peace treaty, delimitation of borders and opening of communications.
Ilham Aliyev highlighted the mine problem faced by Azerbaijan and the fact that about 4,000 Azerbaijani citizens are considered missing since the first Karabakh war. The importance of addressing these issues was noted.
Issues of Azerbaijani-French bilateral cooperation were also discussed at the meeting, the press service of the head of state announced in the afternoon of September 29.-0-
