Ilham Aliyev again warns officials about responsibility
Baku/14.09.21/Turan: Officials should know and remember that punishment for violations of the law is inevitable, President Ilham Aliyev said this on Tuesday, addressing the newly appointed heads of the executive power of the Jalilabad and Shamkir regions of the country.
“In recent years, many high-ranking officials, heads of local and central executive authorities, as well as former heads of (districts) and ministers have been brought to criminal responsibility.
Everyone should know that no one will escape responsibility ... If the officials do not give up their ugly actions, they will suffer the same fate,” Aliyev said.
He stressed that officials must work within the law and justify the high confidence they have shown.
“You have to work in such a way that the citizens are satisfied. However, now many investigative materials show that the heads of some regions received money and bribes even from the most socially unprotected segments of the population,” Aliyev said.
The heads of the districts did not hesitate to appropriate even the minimum wage, even for the poor, and some of them took to the humanitarian aid sent by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the head of state said. - 06D-
