Ilham Aliyev congratulated Ilgar Mammadov(updated)
Baku / 09/05/20 / Turan: The leader of the Republican Alternative (REAL) party, Ilgar Mammadov, met with the head of the presidential administration, Adyalat Veliyev, the REAL party said.
Veliyev conveyed congratulations from President Ilham Aliyev to Ilgar Mammadov on the registration of the party.
The REAL chairman expressed gratitude for the congratulations and noted that the recent registration of political parties will have a beneficial effect on the country's international image.
Mammadov also noted that the restoration of his rights pursuant to the decisions of the ECHR was one of the results of the dialogue between REAL and the parties.
"Adalat Valiyev, for his part, noted that new initiatives developed by the presidential administration regarding political parties in the coming months will lead to a new stage of political relations in the country," the party said in a press release.
“During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on problematic issues of the country's political agenda, including the role of courts in protecting human rights on the example of decisions on Wafa Nagi and Tofig Yagublu,” the press release says. –06D--

The Azerbaijani citizen in the vehicle claimed ownership of the cargo and also stated that he was a diplomat. The investigation by the prosecutor's office is ongoing, reports Sabah newspaper.
