Ilham Aliyev Discussed Karabakh with EU Special Representative for South Caucasus
Baku / 25.09.20 / Turan: On Friday, the head of state I. Aliyev met with the special representatives of the European Union for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Toivo Klaar.
The topic of the meeting was the issues of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and relations between the EU and Azerbaijan. The meeting was attended by the head of the EU mission in Azerbaijan, Kestusis Jankauskas.
Before the meeting, the EU Special Representative wrote on his Twitter page that he will stay in Baku for two days, holding a series of meetings.
«In Baku for two days of meetings. The #EU has a strong interest in peace and stability in the South Caucasus. Important to reduce tensions and return to process of substantial negotiations without preconditions led by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs,” he noted. -02D-
