Ilham Aliyev received National Security Advisor and Chief of Staff of the President of Afghanistan

Baku/21.12.20/Turan: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev thanked Afghan President for the political support provided to Baku from the first days of the beginning of the Second Karabakh War. Aliyev said this on Monday, receiving in Baku the national security adviser Hamdullah Mohib and the head of the Afghan President's administration Mohammad Shakir Kargar.

During the meeting, issues of the development of bilateral relations were discussed, the successes were noted and prospects for their deepening in the field of economy, security, investment, transport and other areas were outlined.

Issues related to the development of the Lapis-Lazuli international transport corridor, Azerbaijan's participation in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan were also discussed.

National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib conveyed a letter to Aliyev from Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani. -02D-
