Sixty people detained for illegal registration on the icazə.e-gov.az portal
Baku/21.12.20/Turan: Up to 60 citizens were detained for obtaining illegal permits on the icazə.e-gov.az portal to move around the country under quarantine conditions. This is stated in the message of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the police raid, it was established that the deputy head of the “24 Taxı” company, Yagub Gafarov, illegally registered several people on the portal as couriers and drivers, receiving 150 manats from each.
In total, about 60 people obtained permits illegally.
During the search in the company's office, fake certificates, bankcards and other material evidence were revealed. Illegal actions were found in the correspondence between the detainees on social networks. Operational measures are underway, the report said. -06D-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
