Baku/06.12.22/Turan: On Tuesday, the head of state Ilham Aliyev received Sergey Melikov, the head of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation.
Aliyev expressed confidence that Melikov's visit would contribute to the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Dagestan in specific areas.
In turn, Melikov expressed confidence that his visit to Azerbaijan would further expand cooperation.
Further, Aliyev awarded the adviser to the head of Dagestan, Magomed Gurbanov, with the Order of "Shohrat", for his merits in the development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation. ----02D----
