On Tuesday Ilham Aliyev received the General Director of news agency "Russia Today" Dmitry Kiselev. Kiselev appreciated the conditions created for the activity of the structure in Azerbaijan led by him. He also praised the facilities provided for operating of the Russian media and educational institutions in Azerbaijan.
The sides exchanged views on various aspects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia in the field of press and information, stressed the need to expand and intensify relations in this field.
Kiselyov is one of the main mouthpieces of the Kremlin to justify aggression against Ukraine. For this reason, the West has applied against him and dozens of other Russians sanctions, prohibiting entry into Europe and USA.-02D-
