Earlier, the US Embassy in Baku reported that Wells will attend the meeting of the International Contact Group (ICG) on Afghanistan. More than fifty countries and international organizations will attend this meeting to coordinate international efforts to support Afghanistan in its quest for peace and security. The participants will also discuss the preparation of Afghanistan for the parliamentary and presidential elections to be held in the next ten months.
