Ilham Aliyev's meeting with Erdogan
Baku/10.08.22/Turan: On August 9, a meeting of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, took place in Konya as a part of celebrations on the occasion of the Islamiada opening.
According to a message on the Azerbaijani President's website, the sides discussed "the successful development of friendly, fraternal and allied ties between the two countries in all spheres."
Erdogan voiced his country's support for Azerbaijan due to the recent developments in Karabakh.
The sides also exchanged views on the post-war period in the region, discussed issues of cooperation in the economic, energy, transport and military spheres. -06D-
