Baku / 23.09.20 / Turan: On September 22, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky called the head of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
"During the conversation, the heads of state expressed mutual support of our countries in the issues of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and Azerbaijan," the press service of the President of Azerbaijan said.
The parties noted the need to take concrete steps to expand cooperation in the field of energy, transport, investment, aircraft construction, agriculture, tourism, humanitarian and sports spheres, the report said.
On the same day, a telephone conversation took place between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Erdogan expressed condolences in connection with the death of an Azerbaijani soldier on the state border with Armenia. He stressed that Turkey will always be with Azerbaijan. -02D-

A meeting of CIS Foreign Ministers is taking place in Moscow on 7 October. Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov are attending the meeting. However, no bilateral meeting of the Ministers is planned.

Famil Khalilov, a paralysed activist, disabled activist of the first group, who is on hunger strike for the 55th day in the pre-trial detention center, was awarded a certificate of gratitude for ‘exemplary behaviour’ by the head of the detention centre.
